Picked this New drop from Simply Bare yesterday on Queen St. W. Dispensary was called Mani's Toke - Close to the Drake Hotel on the North side of Queen.
BC weed hits different, and Simply Bare is one of the top producers in the country (IMO). They find themselves in the upper echelon of price tiers as far as 3.5g's, but for good reason - They output terpy strains consistently more than others while packaging in glass and boasting an Organic FVOPA certification on their flower.
Cement Shoes came recommended to me by an industry colleague @rickibobby11,
and I wasn't disappointed. It's an Indica Dominant strain with it's lineage being a mix of: OGKB x Animal Cookies x Wet Dream. This lot (ESPGD003) sits at 26% THC, and although it's not Simply Bare's terpiest flower (1.43%) Cement Shoes still packed a punch. 3-4 larger buds made up the full weight - so "bag appeal" was certainly there. Taste is a Tangy, Earthy profile, not very pronounced when smoking but the buds smelled nice before and after the grind. Flower is vibrant green and triched up. Trim job was decent. Package date: Aug 09, 2024.
Bag weight was 3.65g - Always happy when it's over.
Top terps : Trans-Caryophellene, Beta-Myrcene, Limonene and Farnasene
Ash was looking good, with a nice oil ring. Enjoyable high for a chronic consumer.
Homework on this is - If they can enhance their Cement Shoes flavour, making it more pronounced that would be my only suggestion.
