The Jublee Apples & Matcha bars are interesting. They definitely are a stand out for being not candy. I feel there is still some room for improvement though. They mostly tasted like a spiced apple bar that also had an oddly gritty texture. I do wish for allergy sakes they listed the spices involved since there is room on the label. I think the gritty feel came from the matcha powder which is funny because I could hardly taste it. It's different from what you would expect just looking at the package. It's also a lot to eat with the two bars. I feel like this really should have just been one little bar as the dates, sunflower butter and cranberries really amp the richness up. It's naturally sweetened but not overly so and the ingredients are quite simple. I found the high to be fine, maybe a little delayed. It did just give me a pretty basic distillate head high that was slightly weaker than normal but nothing dramatically low. I'm glad it's in the market even if it's not to my tastes.
