Appearances aside, the Balcony Hazelnut bites are pretty tasty. They actually are basically a hazelnut butter cup and not a kind of nut cluster like I assumed from the name. The chocolate did have a bit of separation from time sitting but that's pretty normal for old milk chocolate. They also mix in semi sweet chocolate either into the nut butter or milk chocolate shell. I actually quite liked that as it lowers the sweetness of the milk chocolate. It is quite rich like any nut butter product so no quick eating here. The hazelnut isn't a super strong flavor in the face of all that chocolate but it does avoid tasting just like Nutella. It is kind of funny they felt the need to put on the front of the package intended for ingestion. I kind of think most folks would assume you eat chocolate. The 10mg distillate worked fairly well with my usual head high from it. I like the variety this brings to the market (alas this is not available in BC though) but still kind of like Rosin Heads better for the nut butter cups in this style.
